IHSE USA to showcase new Draco Vario Extenders with multiple inputs/outputs to support parallel matrices or signal paths
NAB 2013, Las Vegas, NV – April 8, 2013: IHSE USA, LLC, a leading supplier of advanced high definition KVM solutions for video and data connectivity builds on the reliability and superior quality of data transfer with the latest Draco vario redundant path extenders.
The new modules are designed to allow multiple signal-path connectivity providing two full data paths to two separate devices. Applications include: Sending a CPU to two different switching matrices, sending one output to the KVM matrix and the other output to a dedicated receiver, or sending one output to the DVM matrix and another to a patch-bay. At the remote side (User Station) the second input can be used to bridge feeds from two different switching matrices.
In the full path tactical operations center or command and control environment, full switcher backup can be accomplished at a much lower cost. With the redundant path CPU, two complete switch fabrics can be connected with full switcher redundancy.
The redundant path extenders can be installed in any one of the vario frames offered in 2, 4, 6 and 21 slots. Redundant power is available as well as optional modules for adding optional Audio and RS-232/422 signals.
