IHSE USA now offers HDMI/USB 2.0 extenders for the popular Draco Vario line of KVM extenders
NAB 2013, Las Vegas, NV – April 8, 2013: IHSE USA, LLC, a leading supplier of advanced high definition KVM solutions for video and data connectivity is now shipping the latest in HDMI extenders for the Draco Vario line of products. New for NAB 2013, the K481 series is based on field proven compression technology that transports the ultimate in high quality video and data over Cat-X or fiber optic cable. As part of the module transport format, the K481 is available with a looping HDMI monitoring port on the CPU module. Both the TX and RX modules support USB 2.0 interface for keyboard and mouse connections. Designed to integrate easily with the current Draco Vario line of extenders, the K481 operates seamlessly with the optional Audio and Serial data extender modules. Digital Audio, Analog Audio and RS-232/422 signal formats can be combined with the K481 HDMI card to create a full data management path up to 10Km using singlemode fiber or up to 140m with Cat-X cable. Four chassis types supporting either a 2, 4, 6, or 21 card slot can be configured with no special configuration or setup requirements. A wide range of K481 offerings are available supporting video resolutions up to 1920x1080p60 HDMI or 1920x1200 DVI-D signals.
The Draco Vario HDMI is the perfect solution for new construction and retrofits; as either standalone units or as a multi-path distribution system supporting up to 21 HDMI paths in only 4RU. All frames support optional redundant power making them ideal for critical-path HD-KVM distribution in medical facilities, hotels, airports, casinos, nightclubs, conference centers, command and control environments, and other commercial, educational or military environments.
