IHSE USA introduces a new 80 port KVM Switcher solution for the Draco tera compact line of products
NAB 2013, Las Vegas, NV – April 8, 2013: IHSE USA, LLC, a leading supplier of advanced high definition KVM solutions for video and data connectivity has expanded the Draco tera compact line to support 80 ports of high quality KVE switching. IHSE USA has expanded the new K480-80C Draco tera compact series with an 80 port 2RU model which includes key performance hardware and software improvements. IHSE USA already offers the best performance in HD-KVM switching and with the introduction of the Draco tera compact 80C, we’ve created a much simpler approach to extending multi-channel computer signals. With full flexibility to support both fiber and Cat-X in the same frame, systems can be ordered to support 48 Cat-X and 32 fiber ports. This allow an easy approach to share both fiber and copper distribution in the same package and control environment.
With the full K480-80 Cat-X model, you can easily control up to 79 computers and displays from a single console using IHSE USA’s HD-KVM Draco tera compact 80 port switch. Need to configure multiple workstations to manage a single CPU? Just change the extender types from CPU to CON and now manage a single computer device from up to 79 workstations or any other combination.
A wide variety of extender solutions are available to easily connect Analog Computer Graphics, DVI or HDMI video, USB, serial devices and analog or digital audio up to 140m over CATx or up to 10Km over singlemode fiber. The Draco tera compact 80 can host a variety of signals from CPU with a single monitor out up to CPUs with 16 monitor outputs, USB-HID, USB 2.0, Audio and RS-232 control.
With our unique flex-port technology users no longer need to predetermine port locations – just connect the extender module to the switch and let the switchers intelligent controller do the rest. Each port on the Draco tera compact can auto-configure itself to become a console port or cpu port. When the extender device is attached to the switch it becomes part of the complete HD-KVM system no matter which port you select.
A new feature for all tera switch systems is IHSE’s USB HID Ghosting mode which allows users to transfer a preferred keyboard and mouse configuration into the CPU unit with the press of two keys. Different keyboard and mice are then treated according to the referenced devices resulting in instant keyboard switch and mouse switching times.
When it comes to control, the draco compact tera 80 has you covered in a variety of control options. From a newly redesigned On Screen Display (OSD), you can use the draco compact system auto-configured straight out of the box or users can easily setup parameters and user configurations. Add more flexibility with our Java-based control GUI or customize the system using third party controllers with the expanded API command protocol. The draco tera 80C supports Smart Tie-Line technology so that it can be integrated with larger KVM networks as your KVM requirements expand.
Rounding out this powerful solution for HD-KVM is the internal redundant power supply when mission critical 24/7 operations are required.
