DRACO tera compact UNI | 480c Series
Matrix Frames for Universal signal formats – SDI, HD-SDI, 3G-SDI, and USB 3.0
The Draco tera compact UNI is designed for smaller to mid-sized KVM requirements using backplane technology allowing high speed data signals such as SDI and USB 3.0 to be switched typical to a routing switcher. The advantage comes in the ability of each port to be configured as either an input or output by way of the tera tool control application. Based on SFP card cages, any combination of fiber or BNC-style SFP module for 3G-SDI can be inserted and setup to switch. In combination, a separate USB 3.0 SuperSpeed switch process can be accomplished in the same frame.

1RU frame sizes come in 16, 32 and 48 while the 2RU Hybrid Cat-X/UNI and Hybrid Fiber/UNI come in either 48C16U, 48C32U, 48F16U and 48F32U. Hybrid models allow a combination of KVM to be switched with SDI or USB 3.0 signals. Up to 48 KVM slots are available for connecting the Vario or Compact series of extenders supporting DVI, Dual-Link DVI, HDMI, DisplayPort, USB 2.0, RS-232/422. Up to 32 universal slots are available for SDI or USB 3.0
Building on the field proven technology found in the Draco tera enterprise, the tera compact series brings a full set of high performance features at an affordable price. It is a simple operation to set up and configure the matrix with the on-screen display (OSD) or through any of the available software bundles supporting the feature-enhanced Draco tera tool.
For those who prefer a third party control application, the Draco tera compact can be configured to operate with many popular control systems using the IHSE API protocol package such as Crestron, HRS or Lawo’s L-S-B control software. In addition, DNF programmable pushbutton panels have been developed using the IHSE API allowing quick pushbutton source and destination control normally found in broadcast and studio environments.
